Bailey taking a nap with her first Snoopy. Relax, it's only a prop. She doesn't really sleep with it.

Boy or Girl?

If my dreams are any indication as to what I'm having then I'd have to say girl. A few weeks ago I had a dream that I could see the baby through my stomach. She was pushing her hand up against my stomach and when I would try to take a picture of her, she would move away. I dreamt she had the biggest brown eyes and brown hair to match. As fate will probably have it, she will be a he, and come out with bright blue eyes and red hair (just like Daddy).

Just last night I had another dream. She was curled up and pushing her feet out. I could see all tens toes and ten little toenails. She would then giggle and pull her feet back and repeat the whole thing again. I have a feeling this dream was a result of the feet I feel kicking my sides and ribs throughout the day.

Of course I think Baby Bart is a girl because of my dreams but what does Dan think? As of right now he thinks Baby Bart is a little boy. I don't think either of us has a strong feeling either way but we are definitely excited to know and meet this baby!

The nursery is almost complete and should be finished by Sunday. I will be posting pictures once everything is done.

Better Late Than Never

As many of you know, Dan and I have had a very exciting year. Because of everything we've been up to, creating a blog has taken a backseat. Now that things have calmed down a bit we can begin to focus on updating everyone about Baby Bart!

We are due July 1, but the doctor thinks the last week of June is more likely. I will continue to believe this because I think the more I say it the more it will come true :). We have opted not to find out the gender of the baby or share the names we have come up with. At first I was against all of this but now I am really excited we chose to be surprised.

I am currently 32 weeks along and feeling pretty good for the most part. I didn't realize how much I appreciated my ankles until they started to disappear. We were very fortunate to have a cooler than normal winter but now the Florida heat is back in full force. Heat and pregnancy are two things that do not go well together. Luckily, I only have a few more weeks to get through.

We have started to work on the nursery and hope to finish it in the next month. Pictures will be posted as soon as the finished product is complete!

The blog is new for us so I am going to do my best to attach some pictures.
